Construction:
The sweater is knitted from the top down. Stitches are cast on for the back piece, which is worked flat while doing increases. Stitches are then picked up along the upper edge of the back piece, for the left and then right shoulder piece. The two shoulder pieces are worked flat and with increases to create the neckline. The two pieces are joined to create the front piece, which is also worked flat. The front and back pieces are eventually joined, creating the body which is worked in the round and finished with a rib edge and Italian cast-off. Stitches are picked up along the neckline and worked in rib, folded double and knitted into place. Finally, the sleeves are made by picking up stitches along the armholes and working them in the round while doing increases on the underside. They are finished with a rib and Italian cast-off.

Gauge:
The gauge should be 15 sts x
24 rows when working in moss stich and when working in stockinette stitch. We achieve this gauge with 8 mm needles when working in Holst Garn Cielo, and with 6 mm needles when working in Mayflower Santiago, since this yarn contracts less. Make sure to find the right needles for your tension and your chosen yarn.

Size guide:
The sweater can be knitted in 3 different sizes, XS-S (M-XL) 2XL-3XL, corresponding to a circumference of the sweater of 120 (130) 140 cm. The sweater is designed to have a positive easy of 20-40 cm.
Example: If you have a bust measurement of 90 cm, we recommend knitting a size M-XL with a positive ease of 40 cm. If you prefer a less oversized look, it can be knitted in size XS-S with a positive ease of 30 cm.
